[job_card.job_description]Establish, oversee, and integrate all aspects of sample processing, including collection, storage, shipping, and transfer procedures. Collaborate with Precision Medicine Strategy Leads and scientists to evaluate vendors, forecast operational costs, and ensure budget alignment. Coordinate with the data management lead to capture, blind, and transfer sample and testing data accurately throughout clinical trials. Guide clinical teams on compliant practices for sample acquisition, storage, and shipping in line with study protocols. Ensure compliance with training requirements and maintain accurate documentation of time and expenses. Foster strong working relationships with various units to facilitate successful project delivery. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Proven problem-solving abilities and strong organizational / project management skills. Ability to work independently while contributing to collaborative initiatives. Proficient in Microsoft applications. A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in clinical research, preferably within academic, CRO, or pharmaceutical / biotech settings. Familiarity with clinical trials and clinical databases; experience in laboratory sample management is an advantage. Bachelor's degree in a life science, nursing, or a related field is required.
We are seeking a Clinical Laboratory Study Director to collaborate with the Precision Medicine Strategy Lead and various clinical study teams. In this role, you will oversee the coordination of sample collection, data quality, and operational tasks necessary for biomarker evaluations, facilitating the translation of scientific insights into medical practice.
