Are you a skilled Clinical Laboratory Scientist seeking an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in a dynamic, traveling role? We are looking for dedicated professionals to perform routine and complex laboratory procedures across diverse settings. This position offers a unique chance to contribute to patient care while experiencing the flexibility of travel work, all while working primarily day shifts. Required Skills:

• Certification as MT, MLS, CLS, or MLT from ASCP, AMT, AAB, or HEW/HHS.
• Valid Louisiana license.
• Proficiency in routine and advanced laboratory procedures, specimen processing, and reporting results.
• Experience operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control procedures.
• Ability to utilize Laboratory Information Systems effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting critical results and documentation.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Cross-training experience in multiple laboratory sections such as Blood Banking, Microbiology, Chemistry, and Hematology.
• Phlebotomy skills and patient interaction experience.
• Knowledge of CLIA regulations and compliance standards.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution.
• Equivalent laboratory training and experience recognized by credentialing agencies.
• No experience required for graduates of approved clinical training programs; one year of approved clinical lab experience preferred, including rotations in key sections.

Other Requirements:

• Must be available for shifts from Wednesday to Tuesday, including days from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
• Ability to travel as needed, with reimbursements for travel, licensure, certifications, and other related expenses.
• This is a full-time, permanent position with a schedule of 7 days on/7 days off.
