Job Description

Pride Health is hiring a Laboratory Assistant to support our client’s medical facility in Miramar, FL . This is a 3+ month contract with the possibility of a contract hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Title : Laboratory Assistant

Location : Miramar, FL 33025

Pay Rate : $18.90 / hr. on W2.

Duration : M-F 11 : 00 am to 7 : 30 pm

Shift : Multiple shifts available

  • Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Receive, sort, prepare, store, and retrieve specimens
  • Perform centrifuging, aliquoting, labeling, slide prep, and basic testing setup
  • Maintain equipment, work areas, records, and QA / QC standards
  • Prepare reagents / media and resolve pending or missing samples
  • Follow PPE, safety, biohazard disposal, and regulatory requirements
  • Use laboratory computer systems and complete required training

    • Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent (medical assistant training a plus)
  • Strong multitasking, organization, and teamwork skills
  • Reliable transportation, punctuality, and full-shift availability required
  • Excessive absenteeism or tardiness is grounds for termination
  • Bilingual candidates who speak Spanish. English
