Job Description

Laboratory Technician I

Short-Term Assignment - 3 month Contract

Assignment End Date : Projected for May 1, 2026

Temp to Perm : No

Compensation

  • Pay Rate (Based on Experience) : $23 – $25 / hour

Schedule

  • Shift : Monday – Friday
  • Hours : 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM

    • Position Summary

    This is an entry-level Laboratory Technician I position. The role is responsible for performing testing of raw materials and drug products, maintaining and calibrating analytical instruments, preparing standard and sample solutions, and maintaining appropriate laboratory records.

    Core Essential Skills

  • Associate’s degree in Science or a related field

    • Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Science or a related field
  • This is an entry-level position

    • Key Responsibilities

  • Perform testing and analysis of incoming materials, intermediates, finished products, swab samples, and other samples of moderate scope and complexity
  • Prepare, maintain, and review thorough records and documentation for solutions, sample preparation, and investigational / experimental samples
  • Support laboratory investigations related to Out of Specification (OOS), Out of Trend (OOT) results, or other laboratory events
  • Coordinate and send materials for contract laboratory testing
  • Clean laboratory glassware and bench space
  • Order, stock, and dispose of laboratory supplies and reagents
  • Assist with activities associated with the stability program, including sampling and placement
  • Execute projects of limited to moderate scope as assigned
  • Assist with activities related to the sampling of incoming materials as needed
