Pay Rate: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour (based/determined on proven work history)

Our customer is looking for a strong candidate who can represent their customers' facility. The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills, dress appropriately for the position, must be able to be a problem solver (root cause and solutions), etc. This candidate must have their own transportation and have great attendance. Must have some experience within the automotive industry. This person will need to be detail oriented, have a good eye for detail, and must be able to handle conflict to resolve issues that arise.
Responsibilities and Duties of the Quality Liaison:
- This candidate will need to be able to read measurements, boundary books, work instructions, etc.
- Must be able to communicate with the customer with Live Time pictures and updates throughout the day
- Will need to be able to handle small tools while performing rework for the customer
- Communicate with the Quality Team, Upper Management, and Line Supervisors with any updates on the rework process
- Required to perform inspections on multiple parts by going off the boundary book
- Must go back and forth from the sort area to the line daily, providing rework parts for production
- Will need to keep track of data daily in a matrix. This will be presented to the customer and their customer daily
- Keep track of inventory, rejected parts, and good parts so that the customer can make sure to provide enough parts for the production lines, and to make sure the OEM doesn't shutdown
- Will use fixtures daily to determine to boundaries of these parts and if they meet the specifications for the OEM
- Safely and accurately perform all duties as required while in the plant
- Will assemble and disassemble parts daily from all structures
- Able to work in a fast-paced atmosphere
- Addressing quality issues to the customer, so they can provide clean points, quality alerts, to make sure good parts are coming to the facility
Required skills of the Quality Liaison:
- Must have knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Mechanically inclined to use small tools daily
- Ability to read measurements/blueprints
- Able to read work instructions, boundary books, etc. that are used on a daily basis
Requirements of the Quality Liaison:
- Minimum of two-years of Quality Assurance in the automotive manufacturing industry experience required
- Associate degree or higher educational level preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Dress appropriately for the position
- Must be able to be a problem solver (root cause and solutions)
