Gentry Orthodontics (Clarksville, TN) is looking for an amazing individual to join our dedicated team as a full-time assistant. Our team members enjoy a generous compensation package that is above and beyond the industry norm. This allows team members to not just have a 'job' but also to have a long-term career at our office. This position is full time and will serve our single location.

The ideal candidate is consistent, professional, friendly, detail-oriented, responsible and a team player. Experience in a dental setting is preferred, however, we are willing to train the ideal candidate!

Requirements:

· A friendly, positive and professional demeanor with patients, parents and office team members

· Outstanding written & verbal communication skills

· A thorough knowledge of dentistry and/or willingness to learn

· Strong computer skills; preferably knowledge of Dolphin software

· Ability to work Monday – Wednesday, 7:00 am to 5pm and Thursday 6:00am to 3pm

Job Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

· Greeting patients and parents with a warm and welcoming smile

· Instructing patients and parents on good oral hygiene

· Taking x-rays, facial photos and intra-oral photos

· Using the iTero scanner

· Assisting doctor clinically

· Assisting with special needs patients

· Checking charts and ensuring procedures are properly entered in patient's chart

· Having a complete knowledge of tray set up for doctor

· Collecting and reading health updates

· Documenting referrals

· Walking patients and parents to the front desk and explaining the treatment that was provided that day and the treatment that is needed in the future
