Gentry Orthodontics (Clarksville, TN) is looking for an amazing individual to join our dedicated team as a full-time assistant. This position is full time and will serve our single location.

The ideal candidate is consistent, professional, friendly, detail-oriented, responsible and a team player. Experience in a dental setting is preferred, however, we are willing to train the ideal candidate!

Requirements:

· A friendly, positive and professional demeanor with patients, parents and office team members

· Outstanding written & verbal communication skills

· A thorough knowledge of dentistry and/or willingness to learn

· Strong computer skills; preferably knowledge of Dolphin software

· Ability to work Monday – Wednesday, 7:00 am to 5pm and Thursday 6:00am to 3pm

Job Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

· Greeting patients and parents with a warm and welcoming smile

· Instructing patients and parents on good oral hygiene

· Taking x-rays, facial photos and intra-oral photos

· Using the iTero scanner

· Assisting doctor clinically

· Assisting with special needs patients

· Checking charts and ensuring procedures are properly entered in patient's chart

· Having a complete knowledge of tray set up for doctor

· Collecting and reading health updates

· Documenting referrals

· Walking patients and parents to the front desk and explaining the treatment that was provided that day and the treatment that is needed in the future

Compensation commensurate with experience

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32-35 per week
