We are seeking a dynamic professional to join our employee communications team in the role of Communications Specialist. In this capacity, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Communications Lead in the management, coordination, and execution of a multitude of communications projects. You will help ensure the quality and consistency of our communications efforts, and provide limited creative support, inclusive of story/article writing and proofing. If you are passionate about communications and project management, and thrive in a collaborative environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Communications project management; stakeholder engagement this the main focus of this position. 60% of their time will be focused on communications project management.
- Writing; simple templated design support
- Quality assurance proofing, fact-checking; stakeholder approvals
- Supporting local photo and video shoots
- Organizing shared digital creative assets
- Coordinate metrics scorecard assembly
- Keep team SharePoint sites organized and updated
- Other duties as assigned
Skill Set Requirements:
- Great verbal and written communication skills required
- Project management and organizational experience and skills required
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office tools
- Marketing Communications or Communications experience preferred
Education:
- A degree in Communications, Marketing, or Business is required
