About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Clinical Operations Senior Director to provide strategic oversight and operational excellence on several global clinical studies. In this key role, you will ensure that studies are carried out efficiently, adhering to timelines, budgets, and regulatory standards. You will lead a dedicated team of clinical operations professionals, overseeing essential program responsibilities such as budget management, timeline oversight, and coordination of drug supply.

Your leadership will be critical in managing all operational facets of interdisciplinary clinical programs, emphasizing strategic planning, clear communication, and seamless coordination. You will act as the primary liaison for vendor management, particularly with Contract Research Organizations (CROs), guaranteeing that partnerships meet or surpass established key performance indicators (KPIs).

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in life sciences or project management, along with 10-12 years of robust experience in clinical operations management. A strong background in managing Phase 2 and 3 global clinical trials, particularly in areas related to both rare and common diseases, is highly desirable. Candidates should also have an extensive understanding of FDA regulations, GCP, ICH, and relevant standard operating procedures (SOPs), along with a proven ability to recruit, manage, and mentor clinical operations staff.

To thrive in this role, you must excel in leading a clinical operations team and collaboratively drive program success alongside internal stakeholders. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence senior leadership are vital qualities for the ideal candidate.
