Job description

Director of Operations Clinical Services

At Nye Health Services, we believe great healthcare starts with great leadership. We are seeking a Director of Operations Clinical Services to help lead clinical operations, drive quality outcomes, strengthen accountability, and support a culture where residents and team members thrive.

This is an exciting opportunity for a healthcare leader who is passionate about operational excellence, team development, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement. Nye is a family-owned organization recognized for its care, service, culture, and commitment to helping people live and work happy.

The Director of Operations Clinical Services partners closely with the Executive Director and campus leadership team to oversee clinical operations, quality improvement initiatives, compliance efforts, and operational performance. This role helps build systems, processes, and accountability that support resident satisfaction, team engagement, and organizational success.

While candidates with clinical credentials such as an RN, LPN, Director of Nursing, or other healthcare licensure are strongly encouraged to apply, clinical licensure is not required for this position.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing day-to-day clinical operations and workflows.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements that increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Monitoring operational performance and ensuring completion of key initiatives.
  • Supporting implementation of organizational systems, technology, and best practices.
  • Fostering a culture of professionalism, accountability, and teamwork.
  • Supporting onboarding, coaching, and performance management efforts.
  • Conducting operational audits and follow-up reviews.
  • Partnering with leaders to address performance concerns and improve outcomes.
  • Supporting ongoing CMS survey readiness and regulatory compliance.
  • Assisting with investigations, corrective action planning, and risk management activities.
  • Ensuring policies, procedures, and documentation meet organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Coordinating QAPI and performance improvement activities.
  • Analyzing data and identifying opportunities to improve quality, safety, and operational outcomes.
  • Supporting achievement of campus and organizational goals.

Qualifications:

Clinical background is welcome, but not required. We are equally interested in candidates with demonstrated success in:

  • Healthcare operations and administration
  • Team leadership and people management
  • Performance accountability and coaching
  • Quality improvement and process excellence
  • Regulatory compliance and operational execution
  • Project management and organizational leadership

Preferred candidates will have had exposure to Skilled Nursing, Post-Acute Care, Assisted Living, Hospital, or Behavioral Health environments. Experience with CMS surveys, compliance, and quality improvement initiatives is also preferred.

Why Nye?

Family-owned organization with a strong culture and purpose-driven mission.

Comprehensive benefits package and 401(k).

Low-cost health insurance many team members pay $0.

Tuition reimbursement and professional development opportunities.

Collaborative leadership environment focused on continuous improvement.

Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on residents, families, and team members.

We're an equal opportunity employer. All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or disability status.
