Clinical Program Director - Residential Services

Location: Waterbury, CT (Onsite)

Position Type: Full Time - Mon-Fri, 40 hours, plus one evening shift

Compensation: Pay Range: $90,000-$95,000 Per Year

Description

The Clinical Program Director of Residential Services is responsible for overseeing behavioral health treatment services for individuals with mental health and substance use disorders in Waterbury, CT. This full-time, onsite position requires leadership in clinical and operational functions, compliance with regulations, and coordination with various agencies. The role involves managing a multidisciplinary team and ensuring high-quality, person-centered care.

Requirements

Provide leadership and management of the Residential Treatment Program. Ensure compliance with agency policies and regulatory requirements. Supervise and coordinate staff, including recruitment and professional development. Participate in on-call schedule for clinical support. Monitor program budgets and financial performance. Maintain a safe and compliant treatment environment. Communicate program performance to stakeholders.

Qualifications

Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field. Active licensure: LCSW, LPC, or LMFT; LADC is a plus. 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a residential behavioral health program. Experience with CSSD and/or DMHAS-funded programs preferred. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to operate a motor vehicle and travel as needed. Meet routine physical demands, including climbing stairs and lifting up to 20 pounds.
