4Job Description
Provides Audiology services to patients. Plans, organizes and conducts medically prescribed audiology programs to all patient populations in order to facilitate/restore the communicative, cognitive, and/or other related function on all appropriate patient populations. Provides direction to service providers as needed and audiology students. Works independently, seeks supervision when necessary.
Develops assigned projects, programs and protocols. Coordinates Audiology Student / Intern program with designated schools.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Degree and graduation from an accredited audiology program
- Maintain Missouri Audiology License
- Certificate of Clinical Competency from the Audiology Association
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a Audiologist in a hospital setting.
- Verbal and written communication skills required to discuss and document treatment programs and work issues
- Must maintain certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support for continued employment.
