We are seeking a passionate and mission-driven RN-Clinical Manager to help expand the impact of Shepherd’s House Ministries across all sites and advance this life-changing work.
The Clinical Nurse Manager is accountable for providing administrative and clinical leadership across multiple mission sites serving individuals experiencing homelessness, addiction, mental health challenges, and complex social needs. This position ensures high-quality, trauma-informed nursing care while coordinating case management support, community liaison activities, and cross-agency collaboration.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Lead with integrity, humility, compassion, and a teachable spirit while modeling evidence-based care
- Partner with the Medical Director to align vision, strategy, and clinical priorities
- Improve clinical systems, care quality, and program effectiveness for vulnerable populations
- Collaborate with finance and grant partners to manage budgets and support funding efforts
- Serve as primary clinical liaison to public health agencies, hospitals, clinics, and community partners
- Participate in regional coalitions and multidisciplinary care coordination efforts
- Support program planning, evaluation, data tracking, and grant reporting
- Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff and community health workers
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Develop, implement, and maintain clinical policies, procedures, and protocols
- Ensure regulatory compliance, documentation standards, and EHR data integrity
- Oversee quality improvement, infection control, audits, and clinical metrics tracking
- Collaborate with site leadership to ensure safe medical and behavioral health management in shelters
- Provide direct nursing care, including assessments, triage, wound care, and medical intakes
- Administer medications and point-of-care testing per protocol and Medical Director guidance
- Deliver trauma-informed, harm-reduction care across all service settings
- Coordinate care with case managers, behavioral health staff, and peer support teams
- Partner with public health agencies on disease prevention, outbreak response, and health education
- Respond to medical and behavioral emergencies and train staff in CPR, first aid, and overdose response
- Maintain licensure, certifications, accurate timekeeping, required meetings, and compliance with SHM policies
