Job Title : SMT Operator

Job Description

As an SMT Operator, you will be responsible for manually assembling systems using torque drivers and hardware to a specified volume, performing load functions on hardware, soldering components onto circuit boards, and functionally testing completed systems. You will also be responsible for pulling necessary materials from flow racks, back flushing operations on the computer operating systems, and conducting Pass / Fail tests on products.

Responsibilities

• Manually assemble systems using torque drivers and hardware.
• Perform load functions on hardware.
• Solder resistors, transistors, and transmitters onto circuit boards.
• Functionally test completed systems according to work processes.
• Pull necessary materials from flow racks.
• Back flush operations on computer operating systems.
• Conduct Pass / Fail tests on products.

Work Environment

This position requires the signing of an NDA and operates on a day shift from 6 : 00 AM to 2 : 30 PM. The work week includes regular shifts with a lot of overtime and Saturday work. Compensation is competitive, and there is potential for higher pay for candidates with over 5 years of experience.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Jose, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00 / hr.
