CNC Tool Grinder/Programmer offers the chance to program, set up, and produce top-quality tools using advanced grinding machines and tooling software while helping ensure consistent, accurate output across production.
Qualifications and responsibilities for this CNC Tool Grinder/Programmer position include: - 5+ years of experience in CNC tool and grinder programming.
- Program, set up, and operate grinding machines to produce tools per product specifications.
- Ensure product accuracy and uniformity throughout the manufacturing process.
- Read technical drawings/blueprints to develop custom programs for specialty tooling.
- Provide general preventative maintenance to all machines and identify wheel wear on all wheel types.
- Create master programs for standard and modified standard endmills, and for any cutting tool within software capabilities.
- Set up, inspect, produce good first pieces, and run production on drills, keyway cutters, dovetail cutters, and reamers.
- Create programs and wheel offsets for drills, keyway cutters, dovetail cutters, and reamers.
Salary: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Benefits: This position offers PTO starting around 80 hours with accrual-based eligibility (usable after 90 days), with flexibility up to approximately 3 weeks for strong candidates; a 401k with 100% match on the first 3% and 50% match on the next 2%, with pre-tax and Roth IRA options; an HSA with 100% match on employee contributions up to the IRS limit; medical insurance through United Health Group (HMR), dental and vision coverage, voluntary life insurance, STD/LTD, bereavement leave, and an annual bonus up to 7% paid once per year based on targets.
