  • Ensure commitments are in place prior to starting work or materials being released
  • Administer the full subcontract lifecycle, including amendments, change orders, and closeout documentation
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready subcontract files
  • Coordinate redlines between subcontractors, Procurement Director, and Contracts Manager to ensure alignment with company risk standards
  • Ensure all subcontract language includes appropriate prime contract flow-down provisions
  • Verify subcontractor compliance requirements, including:
    • Certifications of Insurance (COIs) through TrustLayer
    • Bonds or approved bond waivers
    • Prequalification status (CMiC)
  • Support invoice validation through GC Pay for all subcontract, WO's and Change Orders
  • Enter and manage all subcontracts and Wos in ERP system (CMiC)
  • Coordinate with project teams to maintain accurate commitment values and budget alignment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field (preferred)
  • 25 years of experience in subcontract administration, procurement, or contracts within heavy industrial or commercial construction
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems (CMiC, SAP, Procore, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of construction contract language and risk allocation
  • Familiarity with subcontractor prequalification, compliance workflows, and subcontract negotiation and redlining processes with the ability to read, interpret, and negotiate contract language
  • Experience with MSA and Work Order structures
  • High attention to detail with strong contract accuracy
  • Organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
