The AERO Specialties Welder is responsible for manufacturing processes and supporting company operations under the direction of the Production Manager. This individual is responsible for effectively communicating with team members and management to ensure deliverables are met.

And someone who can :

  • Follow established work procedures, and perform work assignments as required to meet safety, quality, and production goals.
  • Ability to use welding knowledge and judgement to determine appropriate methods for completing required work.
  • Set and adjust machine controls according to product specifications, utilizing knowledge of machine operation.
  • Work efficiently to control quality, duration, and cost of manufactured product.
  • Must fill out, edit, and follow production work order for quantities, times, and BOMs
  • Keep work area and machines clean and maintained Follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Requirements

    What qualifies someone for this position?

  • At least one (1) year of welding experience; required to pass a welding test
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing methods and the equipment utilized in the process
  • Must be able to read and interpret drawings and specifications
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
  • Ability to lift to 75 pounds (rarely required but could be possible)
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, squat, or kneel regularly.
