We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Experienced Welder to join a production team. In this role, you will play a critical part in fabricating, manufacturing, and repairing high-quality metal structures and components. The ideal candidate brings extensive hands-on experience with multiple welding techniques, a deep understanding of structural blueprints, and a proven track record of maintaining strict safety standards in a fast-paced environment. ...

Responsibilities:
Set up, position, align, and fit components together using jigs, clamps, and fixtures in preparation for welding.
Perform high-quality MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on various metals (such as steel, aluminum, and stainless steel) based on project specifications.
Read, analyze, and accurately execute welding tasks directly from complex technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
Inspect finished welds for defects, cracks, or structural weaknesses, ensuring all output meets industry codes and internal quality standards.
Operate and maintain welding torches, gas regulators, grinding wheels, and other fabrication tools safely; troubleshoot minor equipment issues as they arise.
Adhere strictly to all OSHA regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintaining a clean, hazard-free workspace.

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Strong proficiency in Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), with experience handling both gas-shielded and self-shielded wire.
Machinery Layout: Experience operating heavy shop machinery such as brake presses, shears, or overhead cranes.
Problem Solving: A proactive mindset with the ability to identify potential design flaws or fabrication challenges before starting a weld.

Education:
Trade

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional welding experience in a manufacturing, construction, or structural fabrication environment.
Proven mastery of MIG (GMAW) and Stick (SMAW) welding processes across various positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead).
Strong ability to interpret blueprint schematics, welding symbols, and geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).
Competence using standard fabrication tools, including plasma cutters, oxy-acetylene torches, grinders, and measuring instruments (calipers, tape measures).
Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work comfortably in environments that may be hot, loud, or require awkward physical positioning.
