Adobe Animator Artist with Technical / Electrical Experience

On-site in our Carlsbad, CA office, with the possibility to move to a hybrid arrangement (3 days in office, 2 days remote) after an initial period.

Responsibilities

Create compelling, visually accurate presentations, graphics, and animations depicting complex systems within large, industry-leading data centers

Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), technical directors, and programmers to develop courseware for the training and assessment of on-site technical staff

Apply creativity and technical understanding to bring systems to life, distilling complex processes into clear, visually engaging explanations of function and operation

Manage multiple projects with shifting priorities and tight deadlines

Qualifications

Expert proficiency with Adobe Animate (drawing and animation); knowledge of other Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) a plus

Extensive experience with technical drawing and 2D animation to illustrate how complex systems work (machines, mechanical components, electrical circuits, control panels)

Basic ActionScript knowledge as it relates to animation control from the timeline

Ability to maintain clean, well-organized file systems and asset libraries; familiarity with version control systems (Git or SVN) a plus

Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

Attention to detail, effective composition, and precision in technical illustration and visual communication

Strong time management skills and ability to consistently meet deadlines

This is a contract position : $60 / hr.
