Job Scope
The Director, Brand & Strategic Marketing Communications oversees Acumed’s branding including development and implementation of marketing strategies for Company. Develops marketing communication activities which drive revenue growth and increases brand presence. Utilizes resources to deliver integrated strategic marketing communications. Produces print, digital, e-mail, and web communications that drive positive visibility and establishes a harmonized and consistent brand image, presence and messaging in collaboration with product marketing teams. Leads Marketing Communications team and supervises marketing assets.
Responsibilities
- Manages design and creation of sales and marketing materials
- Leads strategic direction for direct advertising and media relations
- Manages company presence at professional meetings
- Plans, develops, and leads Acumed brand architecture strategy including executing annual brand target setting, innovation review, and brand strategy review
- Develops and manages schedules and budgets for campaigns and initiatives
- Collaborates effectively across cross-functional teams to evaluate, identify, and recommend opportunities to increase market share, strengthen brand, and amplify consumer brand experience
- Oversees content on Acumed websites and print materials globally
- Develops and manages marketing communications’ budget annually
- Manages Acumed brand usage inquiries, reviews, approvals; issues license agreements; analyzes best practices and identifies ways to improve use of logos / trademarks
- Guides brand strategy projects, including developing creative briefs, leading strategy for projects that extends brand messaging across multiple media channels and works with creative team to deliver effective and exciting brand creative
- Develops and maintains professional working relationships with outside vendors
- Maintains strong understanding of current Acumed product lines
- Acts as ambassador of global Acumed brand identity
- Researches innovative delivery methods for sales and marketing messages
- Manages creative team
