Job Description

CoreWeave is The Essential Cloud for AI™. Built for pioneers by pioneers, CoreWeave delivers a platform of technology, tools, and teams that enables innovators to build and scale AI with confidence. Trusted by leading AI labs, startups, and global enterprises, CoreWeave combines superior infrastructure performance with deep technical expertise to accelerate breakthroughs and turn compute into capability. Founded in 2017, CoreWeave became a publicly traded company (Nasdaq : CRWV) in March 2025. Learn more at www.coreweave.com.

What You'll Do

About the Team :

CoreWeave is the AI hyperscaler delivering a cloud platform of cutting-edge services powering the next wave of AI. We operate a growing footprint of data centers across the U.S. and Europe and were named one of TIME100's Most Influential Companies of 2024. This role sits within our Community Affairs function, which serves as CoreWeave's connection point to the communities where we operate.

About the Role :

You will serve as the voice and presence of CoreWeave in our host communities, ensuring we show up with respect, clarity, and measurable local benefit. In this role, you will lead community strategy for individual data center sites, coordinate across state, federal, and international teams, and execute programs that deliver real impact. Day-to-day, you will engage local leaders, neighbors, suppliers, and stakeholders, while partnering internally to manage visits, hearings, and site communications. You will translate community priorities into action and ensure CoreWeave is viewed as a trusted, long-term partner.

Who You Are :

  • 8–12+ years of experience leading community affairs or local government relations for infrastructure, industrial, or large-scale development projects
  • Demonstrated track record building and executing community programs with measurable outcomes (jobs, workforce pipelines, suppliers, water stewardship, etc.)
  • Experience serving as a spokesperson in public meetings and media environments
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional planning with communications, operations, siting, finance, sustainability, and legal teams
  • Experience managing and reporting measurable metrics such as sentiment trends, program participation, and impact
  • Ability to travel extensively and work on-site as needed
  • Knowledge of compliance obligations for local and state lobbying regulations

Preferred :

  • Knowledge of environmental permitting processes and local regulatory pathways
  • Familiarity with data centers, large-load energy topics, or accelerated-computing infrastructure
  • Wondering if you're a good fit?

We value candidates who bring diverse experiences—even if you're not a 100% match. If some of this sounds like you, we'd love to talk :

  • You love building trust with local communities and ensuring development benefits the people who live there.
  • You're curious about how large-scale infrastructure and AI technologies intersect with local priorities.
  • You're an expert in navigating complex stakeholder landscapes and turning insights into actionable programs.
  • Why CoreWeave?

At CoreWeave, we work hard, have fun, and move fast! We're in an exciting stage of hyper-growth that you will not want to miss out on. We're not afraid of a little chaos, and we're constantly learning. Our team cares deeply about how we build our product and how we work together, which is represented through our core values :

  • Be Curious at Your Core
  • Act Like an Owner
  • Empower Employees
  • Deliver Best-in-Class Client Experiences
  • Achieve More Together
  • We support and encourage an entrepreneurial outlook and independent thinking. We foster an environment that encourages collaboration and provides the opportunity to develop innovative solutions to complex problems. As we set up for takeoff, the growth opportunities within the organization are expanding rapidly. You will be surrounded by some of the best talent in the industry—who will want to learn from you, too. Come join us!

The base salary range for this role is $161,000 to $237,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).

    What We Offer

The range we've posted represents the typical compensation range for this role. To determine actual compensation, we review the market rate for each candidate which can include a variety of factors. These include qualifications, experience, interview performance, and location.
