Community Manager (Affordable Housing)

Location : Onsite in NE Portland

Contract Duration : 2-5 months

Schedule : Part-time, 20-24 hours per week

Pay Rate : $27-$31 per hour

About the Role

LHH Recruitment is seeking an experienced Community Manager with a strong background in affordable housing to join our client's team on a short-term contract. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about providing excellent service to residents while ensuring compliance with housing regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leasing : Market and lease available units to qualified applicants.
  • Recertifications : Process annual and interim recertifications accurately and on time.
  • Resident Relations : Maintain positive relationships with residents and address inquiries promptly.
  • Compliance : Ensure adherence to affordable housing program requirements and property policies.
  • Administrative Tasks : Manage documentation, maintain accurate records, and support property operations.

Qualifications

  • Required Experience :

    • Affordable housing experience (LIHTC, HUD, or similar programs).

  • Strong knowledge of leasing processes and compliance requirements.
  • Skills :

    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Preferred :

    • Experience with property management software.

    Pay Details : $27.00 to $31.00 per hour
