Responsibilities
We are hiring a Community Liaison to serve the Northern New Mexico area!
Mesilla Valley Hospital has been in operation since 7, serving those in need of treatment for a variety of psychiatric and substance abuse issues. Mesilla Valley Hospital is a -bed facility, providing access to quality behavioral healthcare and substance abuse treatment to residents of New Mexico, West Texas and Arizona. MVH is the leader in providing quality mental health and addiction treatment services. Our commitment to care includes developing integrated delivery systems through partnerships with medical surgical hospitals, community mental health centers, educational institutions, managed care organizations, local health professionals and agencies.

The Community Liaison directly serves as the liaison between the facility, the community, and referring agencies. The Community Liaison is directly responsible for creating demand for the facility’s services through the effective application of ethical marketing principles and sales methods. In collaboration with the Director of Business Development and Business Development Team, the Community Liaison presents a positive and professional public image of the facility within the community. The Community Liaison is responsible for the implementing the facility’s strategic sales plan, enhancing the facility’s brand / image, effectively managing their assigned territory and accounts, and works to achieve departmental and facility business development goals.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field required. Experience may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis in lieu of a degree. Prior marketing and / or sales experience within a behavioral healthcare setting preferred. Three years minimum documented experience in referral development, account management, sales growth, and physician relationships preferred.
