Compensation Manager
The Compensation Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the city's compensation programs and compensation-related policies. This role oversees base salary administration, job classification, pay structure design, incentive programs, job evaluations, and compensation-related analytics to support workforce planning and organizational goals. Responsibilities include but are not limited to : salary survey participation and procurement, market analysis to determine competitive positioning of the city's pay programs, participation in annual salary administration programs, salary structure creation, maintenance and development of incentive or salary increase budgets to ensure all compensation-related activities are implemented and administered in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards. This role also serves as the lead subject matter expert, providing data and technical advice to labor relations negotiators regarding the feasibility of wage and benefit proposals.
Position Salary Range : $121,948 to $149,047 estimated annually based on experience and qualifications. Use our total compensation calculator to see your earning potential in this role! This position is eligible for full city benefits, including :
