Program Manager InterPlan Governance / Compliance

The Program Manager is responsible for the development and ongoing management of one or more multi-year external client facing programs within a business unit. Program managers typically support business strategies through an integrated portfolio of external client facing projects or initiatives. A program manager may have responsibility for a piece of a larger enterprise / regional external client facing program. Specifically, the individual would be involved in managing Elevance Health's compliance for the InterPlan and Medicare Advantage Programs.

How you will make an impact :

  • Manages and coordinates the development, approval, implementation and compliance of on-going external client facing programs; ensures program meets its stated objectives; provides subject matter expertise in response to day to day external client facing business issues.
  • Supports several BCBSA workgroup agenda items to ensure Elevance Health's strategies and feedback are incorporated.
  • Manages Blue systemwide mandates to ensure compliance with applicable requirements such as ITS, B2, BX, BlueAxis, NDW, etc.
  • Develops communication documents and training criteria relative to program success measures.
  • Develops documentation to support meeting presentations and the tracking and reporting of the program's success.
  • Collaborates with Plan Partners to resolve inquiries and escalations.
  • Researches applicable subject matter practices and remains aware of industry trends.
  • Manages external client facing relationships and partners with corporate and regional business areas.
  • Coordinates training related to external client facing program; develops program success measures and performs periodic assessments of program success.

Minimum Requirements :

  • Requires a BA / BS and minimum of 5 years external client facing experience in program / project management; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences :

  • Experience and knowledge with BlueCard and / or InterPlan policy highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with ITS, CIW and BlueSquared highly preferred.
  • Graduate degree preferred.
  • Experience and knowledge of data analytics, project management, project execution, process improvement and change management experience (strategic and execution) strongly preferred.
  • Project management certification preferred.
  • Experience and knowledge in healthcare or managed care is preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams strongly preferred.
  • Ability to organize work, set and manage multiple priorities in a time sensitive manner is strongly preferred.
  • The ideal candidate is resourceful, inquisitive, creative and displays a passion for being a problem solver, being a leader, hit the ground running, demonstrated assertive decision making style and have superior interpersonal skills strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written, oral, presentation communication skills with the proven ability to negotiate expectations between multiple parties such as Elevance Health, Plans and BCBSA.
  • Proficient of Microsoft Office products, most notably expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and Word.

  • range for this specific position is $94,416 to $155,112 Locations : California, Colorado, Nevada, Illinois, New York, New Jersey
