In this full-time, onsite role, you'll be the go-to expert for installing, maintaining, and upgrading the technology that powers our station. From configuring hardware and software to troubleshooting mobile devices and ensuring our systems are secure, you'll play a critical role in keeping our operations seamless and our team connected. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Configure, install, maintain and upgrade computer systems hardware and software.
- Administer and maintain security of operating systems.
- Mobile phone deployments, general support and troubleshooting.
- Restore files or systems by designing, writing and implementing backup procedures.
- Provide operational support for the organization's information systems and peripheral equipment, such as application servers, database servers, web servers, desktops, printers and storage devices.
- Perform recovery procedures, scheduling and backups, and monitor batch processes.
- Miscellaneous IT tasks support, projects and on-call support.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- High school diploma/GED required. Associates degree preferred.
- 5+ years experience
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Proficient in basic system administration tools & processes
- Strong computer networking skills and organizational skills.
- Able to conform to high security environment and execute the rules governing the Scripps company security and controls policies.
- Able to work in stressful situations and multi-task as necessary
