Position Overview :

As an Armed Security Officer, you will be part of a highly trained team focused on protecting critical facilities, public venues, and key assets. You will receive expert training from qualified firearms instructors in safe weapons handling and marksmanship. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in delivering specialized security services.

Requirements :

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Possess a valid state weapons permit and armed guard certification.
  • Hold a valid U.S. Driver's License.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • If a veteran, must have an honorable discharge from the U.S. Armed Forces.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • At least one year of security experience required.
  • Must successfully pass a National Agency Checklist with inquiries (NACI).

    • Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Ensure constant surveillance of vehicles entering and exiting the premises and allow only authorized vehicles.
  • Direct non-employee personnel (vendors, visitors, etc.) to appropriate entrances.
  • Maintain vehicle log records.
  • Monitor and control contract maintenance personnel access, ensuring sign-in / out procedures are followed.
  • Monitor security cameras and report any safety or security violations to supervisors.
  • Utilize emergency contact rosters and numbers as necessary.
  • Control and verify entrance of Exchange employees into designated areas.
  • Compile and submit daily reports and maintain detailed duty logs.
  • Conduct safety inspections and report discrepancies.
  • Maintain communication with the Loss Prevention control desk.
  • Comply with all directives and procedures, reporting issues to management as needed.
  • Protect all company-issued equipment, reporting any damage immediately.
