Responsible for placing, leveling, smoothing, and finishing freshly poured concrete for various projects like floors, sidewalks, roads, and curbs.

Typical duties include :

  • Checking, setting, and aligning concrete forms.
  • Placing, spreading, and leveling concrete using tools like floats, trowels, and screeds.
  • Moulding expansion joints and edges.
  • Monitoring weather effects on curing concrete.
  • Operating basic hand and power tools, and sometimes heavy equipment like skid steers or forklifts.

  • Physical strength and stamina (ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly).
  • Attention to detail and precision.
