job_description.job_card.job_descriptionThe Print Finisher is responsible for safely and efficiently operating machines to ensure the highest quality printed materials are completed for the customers. Effectively performs machine operations converting post-press product into finished product by following job ticket instructions. Accurately sets up machines to meet specific customer requirements. Responsible for ensuring that machines are operating efficiently while producing product that conforms to quality standards. Performs and documents quality checks to ensure compliance with company standards and customer specifications. Inspects equipment for defects and performs maintenance duties as necessary. Maintains a clean and organized workspace. Safely and efficiently performs all essential job functions in accordance with company policies and operating procedures. Participates in department meetings, training, and continuous improvement events. Serves as an example of what our company values most : innovation, respect, integrity, creativity and collaboration. Performs other duties as assigned. Carrying / lifting, hearing / listening, communicating, manual dexterity, seeing. Basic math skills and understanding of metric and standard measurements / conversions. Detail-oriented and capable of following standard work instructions. Ability to learn quickly and adopt new technologies in a fast-paced environment. Operate safely and efficiently while producing high quality work. Capable of working independently and collaboratively with a team. One year of machine operator experience. Experience working in a print shop. Able to demonstrate proficiency with MS Office tools, demonstrating the ability to send and receive emails, find, open, and save documents and files, and perform data entry. High school diploma or GED required.
