Impact Martial Arts Academy is looking for someone who can accurately represent our training environment and reliably capture instructional content. This role supports both our public presence and our online training platform through consistent documentation, organization, and thoughtful publishing.

This position is ideal for someone who values structure, shows up on time, and takes pride in doing straightforward work well.

About the Role

Position :

Media & Content Coordinator

Schedule :

Hybrid — remote work with required on-site hours

Pay :

$550–$625 per week , depending on experience

Location :

Virginia Beach, VA (on‑site required)

This is a part‑time, ongoing role with a predictable weekly schedule. As the role stabilizes and budget allows, compensation may transition to a monthly structure.

On‑Site Schedule (Fixed)

The following on‑site hours are required each week :

Monday :

5 : 30–7 : 30pm — Brazilian Jiu‑Jitsu

Tuesday :

5 : 30–8 : 30pm — Muay Thai and Filipino Kali

The

days and time blocks will not change . The styles taught during each block may change as the academy evolves.

What You Will Do

Record Instructional Classes (On‑Site)

Attend scheduled classes during on‑site hours

Record instruction clearly and consistently

Focus on teaching and explanation only

No cinematic filming or stylized shots

Follow academy guidelines for privacy and consent

Edit Instructional Footage (Remote)

Perform simple, clean edits :

Remove dead time at the beginning and end

Trim obvious pauses or transitions

No effects, music, or advanced editing

Export, label, and organize files for the online app

Represent the Academy on Social Media (Remote)

Publish

1–2 posts per day , Monday–Friday, across :

Instagram (feed + stories)

Facebook

TikTok (when applicable)

Content reflects real training, beginner experience, and academy culture with a calm, professional tone.

Manage Content and Assets

Use approved content sources :

Google Shared Drive

(internal assets)

Flickr

(public photos)

On‑site recordings

Organize and queue content

Maintain a simple posting log

Write Clear, Simple Captions

One idea per post

Short, readable language

Minimal emojis

Scope of the Role

This role focuses on documentation, representation, and consistency. Strategy, advertising, and brand direction are handled elsewhere.
