Job Title : Contract Administrator Location : Bellevue, Washington Type : 12-month Contract Compensation : $50 - $80 hourly Contractor Work Model : Remote We are actively seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Contract Administrator to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for providing procurement and contract management support, particularly in engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects. As a Contract Administrator, you will report directly to the Procurement Manager and play a vital role in managing supplier relationships, overseeing subcontract administration, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations. Key Responsibilities : Provide oversight and manage increasingly complex procurement and subcontracting activities, particularly in federal government contracting. Collaborate with the Supply Management team to conduct thorough reviews of client contracts and offer negotiation support as needed. Engage with requestors to understand procurement requirements and review statements of work to ensure the correct goods and services are procured. Select appropriate Terms and Conditions for each procurement while working closely with Legal to address Supplier exceptions as necessary. Conduct market research to identify and evaluate potential suppliers. Prepare and manage pre-award activities, including Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), and Expressions of Interest (EOIs). Perform price analyses, ensuring funding is approved prior to entering contractual agreements, and submit procurement packages for review and approval. Issue Purchase Orders and other agreements to suppliers, monitoring and expediting orders to ensure on-time delivery. Manage post-award activities, focusing on performance, change control, quality, cost, and schedule management. Validate receipt of items against orders, resolving any discrepancies related to receipts and invoices. Maintain comprehensive and organized purchasing files and records, performing closeout activities as necessary. Complete additional procurement and contracting duties as assigned. Key Qualifications and Skills : A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in Procurement and / or Contract Management. Military experience is a plus. Proven experience in managing client and supplier relations effectively. Familiarity with U.S. Government contracting standards, particularly with the Department of Energy (DOE) or Department of Defense (DOD) preferred. Demonstrated experience in purchasing fabricated equipment, IT software, and commercial items. Understanding of quality assurance and export control requirements; nuclear or related experience is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while producing high-quality work.
