SUMMARY :
This position is responsible for the support of field crews and service operations through shipping, receiving, and delivery of materials as well as data entry.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES :
- Responsible for maintaining the Company’s warehouse building and grounds when not on delivery; this includes data entry to maintain electronic records of warehouse.
- Responsible for communicating effectively with technicians or other trade labor and to relay concerns to the Warehouse Supervisor
- Responsible for providing feedback to the Warehouse Supervisor regarding cost saving opportunities and customer issues
- Responsible for developing and maintaining in-depth knowledge of : a. Company’s inventory tracking procedures b. Warehouse industry trends
- Responsible for complying with Company standards of conduct and appearance so as to reflect positively on Company image
- Operate heavy equipment and machinery in the performance of these essential duties
- Work with and around hazardous materials, as well as at heights and in confined spaces in the performance of these essential duties
- Drive a vehicle to various jobsites throughout working hours a. Maintain valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets company policy
- Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
- Regular attendance and punctuality are essential for employee job performance
- Perform other duties as assigned
