Who You Are

- An understanding of the semiconductor industry and AI and enterprise technology trends.
- Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to succinctly communicate complex technical and financial information to a broad audience.
- Intellectually curious, proactive and comfortable operating in a dynamic, agile and fast-paced working environment for a global tech company.
- Strong project and time management skills with an ability to drive several projects at once.
What You'll Do
- Support the planning and execution of corporate and government-related communications initiatives to best articulate AMD's position on a range of topics
- Develop messaging and communications tools that bring together business, technology, and public policy narratives
- Build and strengthen relationships with media covering technology and AI regulatory topics
- Monitor the media landscape and emerging issues relevant to AMD, our customers, and the broader industry
- Partner with internal stakeholders to support company initiatives including news announcements, partnerships, and events
- Draft corporate communications materials such as press releases, messaging and briefing documents
- Prepare and brief senior leaders on media strategy, messaging, and best practice.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of securing high-impact media coverage and supporting strategic communications initiatives for a global company
- Experience in external-facing corporate public relations and public affairs
- In-house or agency experience supporting a global technology company strongly preferred
