Join our growing operation as an  Aircraft Engine Mechanic, where you will learn to perform comprehensive overhauls on Honeywell turbofan engines.  This includes disassembly, inspection, identifying and correcting discrepancies, engine builds, and supporting engine performance testing.

StandardAero Augusta is a Business Aviation MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul) facility, specialized to support an extensive range of aircraft models, including renowned brands such as Falcon, Hawker, Challenger, Gulfstream, and Embraer . With a significant 80,500 sq ft expansion opening in August 2025, we’re doubling our footprint  at AGS. Our facility focuses on 22 models of aircraft on the Airframe side, while our Engine Shop performs comprehensive overhauls on Honeywell HTF7000 and TFE731 engines, APUs (36-100, 36-150), and performs diagnostics in our state-of-the-art Test Cells .

What to expect in this role :

• Perform turbofan overhauls, including disassembly, inspection, and reassembly in MRO test cell environment.
• Inspect engine parts upon removal, taking measurements to match upon re-assembly utilizing calipers, borescopes, and micrometers.
• Evaluates removed components for serviceability and document discrepancies.
• Documents all work accomplished in a clear, concise and accurate manner.
• Accomplish Service Bulletins, Repair Letters, and Airworthiness Directive.
• Reads and interprets maintenance manual procedures, blueprints, technical manuals, and schematic diagrams.
