Job Posting  Occupational Therapy Assistant

The Village at Marymount has an immediate opening for a PRN / Weekends  Occupational Therapy Assistant . Join a growing team of successful, happy caregivers and see why The Village at Ma rymount,  is your dream job.

Educational Requirements / Experience :

  • Graduate of an accredited COTA Program
  • Current OHIO State COTA License
  • Experience is a plus

Duties are varied and include :

  • Measuring & recording Residents’ motor function, strength & muscle performance.
  • Assists occupational therapists in developing treatment plans.
  • Observe Residents and write progress reports.
  • Evaluate the capability of Residents to function independently.
  • Assist Residents in carrying out specific exercises.
  • Treat Residents with varieties of techniques.
  • Help Residents use necessary equipment and devices.
  • Educate Residents on how to exercise properly
  • Maintain Resident confidence by monitoring confidential information processing.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
  • Work cooperatively with the Nightingale team.
  • Take the extra mile and interact with residents as needed.
