Job Description:

  • Provide therapeutic interactions to foster patient's social, cognitive, and behavioral skill development
  • Provide psychosocial interventions to teach skills for coping with urges, craving, impulsive behavior and cognitive distortions in thinking, motivational interviewing techniques
  • Provide individual, group and family counseling
  • Provide multi-family group counseling
  • Plan and facilitate interactions with residents within the milieu to build social, emotional, and behavioral functioning
  • Assisting in supervision of activities related to establishing a treatment environment
  • Prepare and maintain case records
Job Requirements:
  • Credentials Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor
    • CASAC
  • 2+ years in a beahvioral health/substance use disorder treatment program
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
