What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage day-to-day operations of assigned rolling mill area
  • Champion safety and ensure compliance with all safety standards
  • Drive performance against KPIs including throughput, yield, downtime, quality, and cost
  • Utilize data analytics to identify gaps and implement corrective actions
  • Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and hourly employees
  • Coordinate with maintenance and reliability to maximize uptime
  • Ensure standard operating procedures are followed
  • Support production scheduling and plant coordination
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support capital planning and operational strategy
  • Build a culture of accountability, communication, and teamwork

What You'll Need

  • Minimum 5 years of rolling mill or steel manufacturing experience
  • Leadership experience in a supervisory or management role
  • Strong understanding of rolling mill processes and equipment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proven leadership and team development capability
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to collaborate across departments

Your Education

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred
