As a Precast Erection Quality Assurance Inspector, you will play a crucial role in inspecting materials, coordinating with project teams, and implementing quality control measures to uphold Inland Crane Inc's reputation for excellence. You will work closely with engineers, contractors, and site personnel to identify potential issues early and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of precast components during and after erection to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Document and report any quality issues, defects, or discrepancies found during inspections and coordinate corrective actions with relevant teams.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and site supervisors to develop and implement effective quality control plans.
  • Verify that all erection procedures adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
  • Monitor material handling and storage to prevent damage and maintain structural integrity of precast elements.
  • Review fabrication and erection drawings to ensure proper understanding and execution of quality requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality assurance activities for reporting and audit purposes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Inspector in precast concrete erection or related construction fields.
  • In-depth knowledge of precast concrete materials, erection methods, and industry quality standards.
  • Strong understanding of construction safety practices and regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality control documentation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong observational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with diverse project teams.
  • Proficiency in using inspection tools, measurement instruments, and quality management software.
