Creative Interior Design Professional

Join a prestigious commercial and residential real estate developer as a Creative Interior Design Professional. This exciting opportunity involves collaborating with a talented design and development team on new construction projects while working closely with homebuyers to create functional, cohesive, and visually stunning interiors.

This position is perfect for designers with a construction-oriented mindset who thrive on client interactions and possess a solid understanding of homebuilding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage directly with clients to guide their selections for interior designs in new homes.
  • Prepare and review detailed selection sheets in collaboration with customers.
  • Assist clients in visualizing entire spaces, rooms, and finishes.
  • Create innovative drawings and design concepts with industry-standard software.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal construction and development teams.
  • Organize and maintain design samples, finishes, and product offerings efficiently.
  • Present the company's available product lines and finishes knowledgeably.
  • Ensure selections are compatible with construction guidelines and budgetary constraints.

Design & Technical Skills

  • Proficient in design software such as SketchUp, Chief Architect, AutoCAD, Revit, or Home Designer.
  • Ability to interpret and understand construction drawings.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail.

    • Experience Level

  • Seeking candidates with approximately 18 months of relevant experience, who are eager, coachable, and ready to develop.
  • Ideal candidates will have up to 5 years of experience in interior design within a construction or residential context.
