Credit Analyst

Responsible for the review, analysis, and evaluation of credit data for commercial loans. This is an entry level, learning / development role.

Tasks include :

• Collection of financial information and conducting analysis by generating, running, and utilizing system-generated reports.
• Working with clients and Commercial Relationship Managers to analyze loan needs and options available to meet clients' financial goals.
• Spreading financial statements and related information to financial spreadsheets and / or software programs for analysis.
• Analyzing Accounts Receivable, Inventory and other collateral information to determine adequate collateral coverage for Asset Based loans.
• Analyzing financial data related to new and renewal commercial loan requests, including lines of credit, asset-based lines, equipment financing loans and / or commercial real estate loans.
• Conducting credit investigations and preparing credit approval reports and summaries.
• Monitoring existing loans to ensure complete conformity with terms.
• Presenting facts and offering opinions to Commercial Relationship Managers concerning applicant's credit worthiness.
• Complying with all Federal, State, and local laws / regulations as applicable.
• Providing exemplary customer service to internal and external clients.
• Demonstrating compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applying to designated job responsibilities knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeping up to date on regulation changes.
• Following all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completing all required annual or job-specific training.
• Maintaining a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description.
• May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert.
• Actively learning, demonstrating, and fostering the Columbia corporate culture in all actions and words.

The pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location.
