Job Title : Sub-Investigator (MD / DO or NP / PA-C) Job Type : Direct Hire, Full-Time Schedule : Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 2 PM Location : Montclair, CA, US Salary Range : $156,000 - $260,000 / annually DOE Benefit : Health, Dental, Vision Insurance, PTO About the Role : Medix is partnering with a growing clinical research organization to identify a qualified Sub-Investigator to support ongoing and upcoming clinical trials. This role is ideal for a licensed clinician interested in clinical research or looking to expand existing research experience while maintaining patient-facing responsibilities. The Sub-Investigator (Sub-I) will work closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) and site research staff to ensure the safe, compliant, and effective conduct of clinical trials. Key Responsibilities : Perform study-related clinical assessments, physical exams, and medical evaluations per protocol Evaluate and manage adverse events (AEs) and serious adverse events (SAEs) Support patient eligibility determination, informed consent discussions, and ongoing subject care Review and interpret clinical data, labs, and diagnostics Ensure protocol compliance, GCP adherence, and regulatory accuracy Collaborate with the PI, CRCs, sponsors, and monitors as needed Participate in monitoring visits, audits, and investigator meetings as required Qualifications : Active and unrestricted medical license (MD / DO or NP / PA-C) in California Prior sub-investigator experience on clinical trials is required Experienced in Metabolic Diseases (Preferred) Strong interest in clinical trials and patient safety Excellent communication and documentation skills Ability to work collaboratively in a research-driven environment Therapeutic Areas : Metabolic / Obesity Cardiology / Nephrology Infectious Disease Neurology / Psychiatry Why Medix : Opportunities with reputable and well-supported research sites Flexible schedules (full-time or part-time options available with various partners) Exposure to industry-sponsored clinical trials Dedicated Medix support throughout the hiring and onboarding process How to Apply : Interested candidates are encouraged to apply or reach out to Medix directly to learn more about available Sub-Investigator opportunities.
