The Analyst II, Transportation is responsible for the administration of weekly freight payment processing for the Logistics department related to freight costs for Inbound & Outbound shipments through freight payment vendor and Access database functions in the department.  Located in Fountain Valley, Long term contract, offering $26-38.00 / hr.

Duties :

• Run weekly Freight Payment files in customized process for MPA Transportation department.
• Audit and report the expense of international and domestic accessorial costs through weekly and monthly reporting as required.
• Process monthly Inbound Landed Cost Report Process monthly LDC rate.
• SME on department freight payment issues and department AD Hoc freight payment reporting.
• Backup Department Freight Transportation analyst on FTL truck requests for MPA PDCs
• Create weekly check requests for Inbound and Outbound freight bills for Finance
• Advise freight payment vendor of any discrepancies in the weekly files for fixes.
• Run monthly freight payment reports for MPA distribution.
• Update monthly LDC rate in Amos for MPA Finance
• Pull and analyze freight payment data as required through Access database or SQL queries
• Assigning GL accounts to specific transactions in freight payment process
• Backup Transportation Analyst with FTL truckload scheduling when needed
• Work to improve internal data processes as needed.
• Provide ad hoc reports and cost studies as required by management.
• Other duties as assigned.
