Pediatric Anesthesiologist

Assignment Details

• Location: Dayton, Ohio

• Start Date: November 1, 2026

• Duration:

- November 1, 2026 – February 28, 2027

- November 1, 2026 – April 30, 2027

• Two full-time positions available

• Coverage Reason: FMLA coverage

Compensation: Hourly - $370/hr, Overtime - $380/hr.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday

• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

• No call

Practice Setting

• Hospital-based Operating Rooms

• ACS Level I Trauma Center

• 14 Operating Rooms

• Approximately 50–60 surgical cases per day

• 22 Anesthesiologists on staff

• Annual ER volume: 70,000

• Collegial multidisciplinary OR team

Clinical Responsibilities

• Mix of independent practice and CRNA supervision in a care team model

• Pediatric anesthesia services across all subspecialties except cardiac and transplant surgery

• No pain management clinic responsibilities

• No anesthesia cart preparation required

Patient Population

• Neonatal through Adult

Required Experience & Procedures

• General surgical anesthesia (Neonatal, Pediatric, Adult)

• Thoracic surgery (excluding open heart)

• Complex orthopedic cases

• Neurosurgical cases

• Ventilation management

Preferred Skills

• Arterial line placement

• Management of acute volume and blood pressure issues

Requirements

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Pediatric Anesthesiology

• Pediatric Anesthesia Fellowship required

• Active Ohio license required

• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required

• Must meet facility rate requirements

Credentialing

• Fingerprinting required immediately upon acceptance

• At acceptance, provider must supply:

• DOB

• SSN

• Maiden name

• License, DEA, CSR, and life support certifications

• CAQH username and password

• Home address

• Cell phone number

• Agency credentialing contact information

Additional Information

• Travel reimbursement available for airfare, hotel, rental car, and IRS mileage

• Clean background and malpractice history preferred
