Job description

Curriculum Developer: Data Center Technician

Remote

Correlation One is the largest provider of AI and data workforce development programs globally, having trained over 500,000 professionals across 11 countries. As the largest training provider for Amazon Career Choice, and a growing partner to state governments building registered apprenticeship programs, Correlation One sits at the intersection of employer talent needs and scalable workforce training.

We work with Fortune 500 enterprises, federal and state government agencies, and leading employers to close skills gaps in AI, data analytics, cybersecurity, and operations leadership. Our programs produce job-ready graduates who are prepared to contribute from day one.

This is a part-time contract position. The contract will run about 3-5 months. We anticipate about 10-15 hours of work per week. This is subject to change based on program needs and consultant capacity; these decisions will be made by Correlation One (C1) staff and communicated well in advance.

About the Role

The Curriculum Developer will support the content development needs of Correlation One's Data Center Technician program, a certification preparation course aligned to the EXIN/EPI Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP) exam. This person will work from existing lesson outlines and a structured GenAI (Claude)-based development workflow to draft, refine, and finalize ready-to-use Codio lessons, labs, and assessments. A successful curriculum developer will have experience in content development (technical content preferred), adult education and pedagogy, and hands-on familiarity with GenAI tools for drafting and iteration. Data center or IT infrastructure knowledge is a nice-to-have but not required. The ideal candidate will be an excellent educator with experience designing learning experiences for adult learners with varied (including beginner) knowledge and skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop lessons from provided lesson outlines using GenAI (Claude) within Correlation One's established content-development workflow
  • Draft detailed lesson-level outlines applying Correlation One's Learning Experience Design principles before full lesson build
  • Iterate on drafted lessons based on feedback from the Content Developer and Learning Designer
  • Use GenAI to support translation of lesson content into another language, reviewing output for accuracy and instructional fit
  • Audit and iterate on existing content to ensure material stays accurate and industry-relevant
  • Collaborate with other curriculum developers and peer-review lessons, leaving feedback for improvements
  • Participate in weekly and ad hoc meetings with the C1 content developer/learning designer to stay on track, ask questions, and align on decisions
  • Deploy finalized content on the Codio platform (training will be provided)

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

  • 3+ years of combined experience in curriculum development, preferably in technical or IT/infrastructure-related fields
  • 3+ years of experience as a curriculum developer, instructional designer, or adult educator
  • Hands-on familiarity/expertise with GenAI tools (, Claude) for content drafting and iteration
  • Strong grounding in adult learning theory and learning experience design principles
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design frameworks (, backward design, Bloom's Taxonomy) and assessment writing
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills to convey complex technical concepts clearly
  • Ability to perform industry and domain research and incorporate new topics into varied curricula
  • Ability to actively listen to feedback from learners and subject matter experts for continuous improvement
  • Data center or IT infrastructure experience is a nice-to-have, not required
  • Comfortable and excited to work in a dynamic start-up environment with a lean team
  • Comfortable working remotely, independently, and self-motivated to succeed
