You will provide cleaning services across the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) campus. This is a 6 month temp to hire position with the possibility to become a permanent employee. Primary duties include cleaning and maintaining living areas, event set-up and tear-down, offices, hallways, classrooms, restrooms, cafeterias, storage areas, entrances and lobbies. This also includes emptying garbage cans and recyclables, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping various types of flooring. This position also includes setting up and removing tables, chairs and other furniture as needed for campus events. Other duties could be assigned as needed.
