Commercial Door Estimator / Project manager :

• The Project Manager is responsible for creating accurate estimates and providing expert recommendations for the completion, installation, or repair of various typers of commercial doors and docks.
• This role requires extensive knowledge of all types of doors and associated hardware.
• The Project Manager will deliver superior customer service by surveying doors, spaces, and collecting precise measurements on-site.
• This position demands high attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to document all findings and customer requests.
• The Project Manager will manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring successful execution and customer satisfaction.

Commercial Door Estimator / Project Manager Task Functions & Responsibilities:

• 1.
• Create accurate and competitive estimates for commercial door and dock projects. 2.
• Provide expert recommendations for completing, installing, or repairing various types of commercial doors and docks. 3.
• Maintain a vast knowledge of all types of commercial doors, associated hardware, and loading dock equipment. 4.
• Deliver superior customer service, including surveying door spaces, collecting measurements, and documenting all on-site findings and customer requests. 5.
• Actively generate sales through excellent service and expert advice. 6.
• Oversee and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and customer expectations are met. 7.
• Coordinate and manage the ordering of necessary materials for each project. 8.
• Accurately document all project details, including measurements, customer requirements, and on-site findings.

Commercial Door Estimator / Project Manager Job-related Skills:

• 1. Minimum of 3 years in the commercial door industry, with at least 3 years as a project estimator, project manager, or in a similar role. 2.
• Advanced knowledge of various aspects of the commercial door industry, including product specifications, hardware, and loading dock equipment. 3.
• Proven experience in managing multiple projects and ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. 4.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively. 5.
• Intermediate proficiency in computer skills, including project management software and Microsoft Office Suite. 6.
• High attention to detail, with the ability to accurately document and manage project details.
