Shell Point is seeking a professional, dependable, and experienced Security Lead Officer to join our team. This is a supervisory role that ensures a safe and secure environment for our residents, employees, and guests. As a Security Lead Officer, you will oversee shift operations, lead and train security staff, respond to emergencies, and handle critical incidents with professionalism and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

Shift Supervision : Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned security officers, ensuring adherence to post orders and community policies.

Training & Development : Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to new and existing security officers.

Emergency Response : Respond promptly and effectively to medical, fire, and security-related emergencies.

Investigations & Reporting : Conduct major incident investigations and ensure accurate and timely completion of reports and logs.

Performance Management : Provide corrective guidance, conduct performance reviews, and document officer performance.

General Security Duties : Support guardhouse operations, patrol responsibilities, and assist officers on calls as needed.

Administrative Duties : Oversee key duplication, supply and inventory checks, and vehicle inspections.

Requirements & Qualifications

To be considered for the Security Lead Officer role, candidates must meet the following requirements :

Education : High school diploma or GED required

Experience : Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or leadership security role

Certifications :

National Incident Management System (NIMS) FEMA Certifications : ICS 100 & 200

CPR / First Aid / AED Certification

License : Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Knowledge :

Strong understanding of security protocols, emergency response, and safety procedures

Skills :

Strong leadership and communication skills

Ability to train and guide team members effectively

Proficiency in writing reports and documenting incidents

Availability :

Must be available to work assigned shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Must be willing to cover shifts on short notice and participate in rotating on-call schedule

Physically able to assist in resident evacuation and respond to emergency situations
