Job description

The Aerospace Corporation is the trusted partner to the nation’s space programs, solving the hardest problems and providing unmatched technical expertise. As the operator of a federally funded research and development center (FFRDC), we are broadly engaged across all aspects of space— delivering innovative solutions that span satellite, launch, ground, and cyber systems for defense, civil and commercial customers. When you join our team, you’ll be part of a special collection of problem solvers, thought leaders, and innovators. Join us and take your place in space.

Building on The Aerospace Corporation's reputation as a trusted, impartial advisor with integrity and dedication to mission success, the Civil Systems Group (CSG) combines deep technical expertise with market-leading innovation to help our customers solve complex systems engineering and integration challenges. Within CSG, the Human Exploration and Spaceflight (HESF) Division provides comprehensive support to NASA across all human spaceflight operations and program office activities. We are seeking a Milestone Review Specialist for Artemis Host Vehicles (Project Engineer- Technical Project Management) at the Johnson Space Center. The HESF Division comprises a team of specialized engineers who deliver technical and acquisition expertise, providing critical recommendations to NASA's human spaceflight and space technology enterprise. • Develop and maintain Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, informed (RACI) matrices for EVA Development stakeholders, ensuring clear technical authority and accountability across multi-organizational review processes
  • Configure and manage review assignments in Configuration Management Workflow (CMW) tool, routing xEVA technical content to appropriate Design Engineering (DE) disciplines and subject-matter experts
  • Maintain standardized comment disposition templates ensuring consistent technical issue tracking and resolution across review cycles
  • Synthesize technical review feedback into executive out briefs for vehicle milestone reviews (SRR/PDR/CDR/SAR), highlighting critical issues and risk mitigation strategies
  • Develop and maintain integrated master schedules tracking Artemis vehicle milestones and xEVA system delivery dependencies
