Performs compliance activities concerning research security risks and export control concerns at the university and the compliance with federal regulations, including export control regulations, sponsoring agencies policies and procedures related to export controls, and university policies related to safeguarding research integrity and security. The Research Security Specialist will also be responsible for assisting with the administration of the government security program in accordance with federal regulations, guidelines, and intelligence community directives. Due to the nature of the duties of this position, this role will require the individual to obtain a Secret level security clearance. This position is reserved for use in the Office of Export and Security Compliance.
