Architect the Future of Global Security: Senior Cybersecurity Architect

Ready to make a tangible impact on global industries using cutting-edge security design? Trimble is looking for a visionary Cybersecurity Architect to defend our digital frontier, tackling complex global challenges by building robust, scalable security solutions from the ground up. You will lead the charge in evolving our organization's security posture, ensuring our innovations remain resilient against an ever-shifting threat landscape.

About Us

Trimble is a global technology company that connects the physical and digital worlds, transforming the ways work gets done. With relentless innovation in precise positioning, modeling and data analytics, Trimble enables essential industries including construction, geospatial and transportation. Whether it's helping customers build and maintain infrastructure, design and construct buildings, optimize global supply chains or map the world, Trimble is at the forefront, driving productivity and progress.

Corporate: Trimble empowers customers to drive productivity and progress with connected hardware and software solutions.

What Makes This Role Great:

In this role, you’ll be the strategic architect of our organization’s defense, directly influencing our global security posture and shaping how we protect the digital-physical bridge. You won't just follow policies; you will design the end-to-end security architecture and collaborate directly with Product & Engineering teams to ensure security is baked into the DNA of every innovation Trimble brings to market.

Key Exciting Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the design and evolution of comprehensive security architectures for global systems and networks.

  • Embed security requirements upfront by evaluating proposed business processes and solutions to ensure resilience from day one.

  • Collaborate as a technical authority with the Security Operation Center and Engineering teams to lead incident response and project initiatives.

  • Drive risk management excellence by conducting deep-dive assessments and communicating strategic risks to business leaders.

  • Empower the sales cycle by acting as the security expert for high-touch customers, ensuring trust in Trimble’s information security standards.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • You have 7+ years of experience crafting robust cybersecurity architectures in complex environments.

  • You possess a strong understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, SOC, and ISO 27001.

  • You have deep technical proficiency in cloud, network, and application security.

  • You are a natural communicator capable of translating complex vulnerabilities into actionable business risks.

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Security.

Bonus Points For:

  • Advanced certifications such as CISSP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.

  • Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, container security, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).

  • Knowledge of scripting and automation using Python or PowerShell.

  • Familiarity with DevSecOps and CI/CD pipeline security practices.

Logistics:

  • Location: US-Remote

  • Travel Requirement: 0-10%
