What You'll Do : Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises. Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and / or delivery personnel with site-specific procedures and directions. Carry out security-related procedures in accordance with location-specific policies and protocols. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns. Document and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or policy violations to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and / or client contacts. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors at the location. Minimum Requirements : Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
